Working with the Windows® file system, Pronto2K and ProntoHD incorporate intuitive software which enables you to capture, process and play-out HDTV data either manually or automatically. The systems support BMP, YUV, TIFF, TGA, Cineon® and DPX for video sequences and AIFF and WAV for audio. File sequences are copied to the Pronto2K/ ProntoHD storage and played-out as video without conversion, making these systems the perfect link between the IT and the video worlds.

Data rates in excess of 306 MB/sec are achieved and in supporting all popular formats, Pronto2K and ProntoHD are totally future proof. Both systems can be adapted to a range of highend post-production applications. Whether you need to capture uncompressed HD data, process it, color grade it or output it to film, you will find the Pronto product line supporting your digital intermediate workflow at every stage.

By combining several units in a SAN environment, the systems provide multiple concurrent real-time HD input and output. Working as a “virtual telecine”, Pronto2K and ProntoHD deliver massive operational time savings.
